Ash is the loyal assistant to Toma XIV, following him in times of boom and bust. He helped Toma garden for Chief Radius to collect funds and then went with Toma to Marbule to research the nightmarish Lagoonates there. Toma commanded great respect from Ash, and the assistant stuck with him throughout the rebuilding of Marbule and Toma's subsequent marriage.
