Elaine is a character seen in Chrono Trigger and is also the wife of Fritz.
Storyline[]
She was first seen at the Ferry Office at the very beginning of the game, waiting for Fritz to return from his journey. Little does she know, Fritz was held as a prisoner in the Prison Towers in Guardia Castle, awaiting execution. When Crono is pronounced guilty of abducting Princess Marle, he encounters Fritz on the way to his own execution. He has the option to save Fritz or allow him to perish. Once Fritz is saved, Elaine returns to the Market in Truce, owned by her father-in-law, with Fritz. Ever grateful, her husband would reward Crono with 5 Mid Ethers.
