Giga Gaia is a boss that appears at the top of the Mountain of Woe in the year 12000 BC, in Chrono Trigger. Giga Gaia uses Shadow, and Fire attacks that hit the entire party for high damage if both of his arms are intact. Wearing protection to either of these elements makes this battle significantly easier. Giga Gaia spends his time reviving his arms if they are destroyed. The battle is won if Giga Gaia is destroyed. Falcon Strike, a double tech that Ayla and Crono use is very effective in destroying both of the arms of Giga Gaia. It is also useful to bring Ayla along to Charm the Speed Capsule off Giga Gaia.
