Skelly's Grandmother is a character in Chrono Cross. Grandmother to Skelly, she resides in Eastern Termina where her granddaughter cares for her in her elderly age. Confined to a rocking chair, she sits in a purple nightgown and cap, reminiscing on her long-lost grandson, Skelly, a circus performer. Once, Skelly visited his grandmother often, bedazzling her with stories of the places he traveled to and the people he met, until one day, the visits halted altogether. When Serge meets her on his quest to find a guide to Viper Manor, she tells him about Skelly and asks that Serge remind Skelly that she is there, waiting for him.
In his travels, Serge finds many different bones. Should these bones be collected and brought to Skelly's Grandmother in Termina, she will use them to reassemble her lost grandchild, who then joins the party.
