Snatch (ぬすむ Nusumu) is a tech used in Chrono Cross. Learned at 3 Stars, Mel gains the ability to steal items from a desired target.

If the tech is successful, Mel will do a little victory jig, and a message pops up revealing what loot was appropriated. If she fails, she will kneel on the ground in a daze for a short moment, before standing up and stomping the ground with one foot in displeasure. Most enemies carry two steal-able items. One that is commonly acquired and one that is rarely acquired. The rarer steal is generally a better item.
